How your photo is handled. This tool is different from most Bubixo tools: rebuilding detail needs a graphics card we do not have, so your photo is sent to an AI service that runs the Real‑ESRGAN model and sends the result back. Your photo is not stored — the AI provider deletes the inputs, outputs and logs of an API request within an hour, and the copy on our side is deleted after 24 hours. Your browser never talks to the provider directly and you never need an account. Even so, please do not upload anything you would not want a third party to process.
Sharpen a photo in three steps
- Choose the photo. Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP onto the box above. Small and soft pictures gain the most; a picture that is already sharp and large has little left to recover.
- Pick the size and the faces option. 2× suits most photos and accepts pictures up to about 1920×1080. 4× is meant for genuinely tiny images, so it accepts up to about 1280×720. If your picture is already too big to enlarge, choose No enlarging: it repairs the faces and hands the photo back at exactly the same size, and it accepts up to about 16 megapixels.
