PDF OCR
Read a scanned PDF — the kind where the pages are pictures and you cannot select a single word — and get two things back: the plain text, and a searchable copy of the same PDF with an invisible text layer on top. Turkish and English are both supported. Everything runs inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.

The OCR engine is a WebAssembly build of Tesseract that we host ourselves. Your image is read on your own device and never uploaded, so there is no server copy and no account.
HOW IT WORKS
Read a scanned PDF in three steps
- Choose the PDF. Drop a scanned or image-based PDF onto the box above. Up to 40 MB and 50 pages; longer documents are read up to that limit and the page tells you so.
- Pick the languages and start. Pages are processed one after another, and each one reports its character count and confidence as it finishes, so you can see quality problems while it runs rather than at the end.
- Take the text or the searchable PDF. The plain text appears in an editable box. The searchable PDF looks exactly like your original but you can select, copy and search the words inside it.
